The goal is to provide good quality, meaningful data to make informed decisions for planning purposes. Institutional Effectiveness at Wesley serves as the umbrella for the assessment processes in Academic Programs, Student Learning and Operational Support Units to the academic area.
Institutional Effectiveness directs all systematic institutional surveys and data gathering. Below is the Ten Year Calendar of national surveys and inventories used by Wesley College for assessment. In addition, IR oversees the creation and analysis of surveys for internal data gathering and assessment.
The Office of Institutional Research provides expertise and leadership in supporting assessment of student learning, master planning, and strategic planning. The director is responsible for communicating data-related information to both internal and external constituencies to support accreditation, program review, and institutional effectiveness.
