Office of Academic Advisement

Advising is a partnership at Wesley College – a working collaboration between student and advisor to help the student successfully navigate the college experience from admission to commencement. The Office of Academic Advisement is here to strengthen and support this partnership. All full time students entering Wesley are assigned an academic advisor who is a member of the permanent faculty. Students who enter with a declared major are assigned an advisor in that program or department. Students still deciding on a major are assigned a faculty member interested in helping students with that decision making process.

The Office of Academic Advising is a resource for both advisors and advisees, providing information on career exploration, course registration, graduation preparation, and academic policies and procedures. The office also acts as a link between the student and other college support services – academic and disability support services, the registrar’s office, student health services, residential life, and financial aid.

Our goal is to empower students by giving them access to the knowledge and means for effective decision making. Welcome to that process!
