Two hundred and four students graduated with Masters, Bachelors, or Associate Degrees during Wesley College’s Spring Commencement on Saturday, May 9. Hundreds filled the Dashiell Amphitheatre to support family, friends, and loved ones during the 142nd commencement ceremony.

Wesley College junior mathematics major Riza Bautista and senior biological chemistry major Dionne Williams have both received an undergraduate tuition award of $3,000 from the NASA Delaware Space Grant College Program (DESGC). This program annually grants awards to highly qualified students studying at a DESGC Consortium institution in the areas of science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) and geography.

On April 29, 2015, Wesley College’s Success for Life program went on a kayaking trip to Silver Lake in Dover, Del. that served as one of the experiential learning experiences. The goal was to help participants learn more about their strengths, each other and the faculty members that joined them.

Wesley College's men's track & field team took third overall at the Capital Athletic Conference Championships hosted by York (Pa.) at Graham Field. The Wolverines recorded a program-best 100 points over the two-day meet. De'Vaughn Trader and Dominic McAnulty both broke school-record while winning individual events on the day. Wesley College's Sam Seibert has been named to the Capital Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse All-CAC Team, it was announced by the league office on Friday afternoon. This is the first time that Seibert has received All-Conference honors and he is the first Wolverines to earn the honor since 2013. Wesley College has announced that Dr. Richard Ekman, president of the Council of Independent Colleges, will be the speaker at the 2015 Commencement ceremony on May 9. Ekman has served in his position since 2000, and is a member of several boards, including the Yale-New Haven Teachers Institute, the National Humanities Alliance and the Overseers' Committee to Visit the Harvard University Library.

Over 80 boys and girls from ages 4-to-14 attended the Sixth Annual Wesley College Soccer Free Youth Clinic on Friday, April 24, at Scott D. Miller Stadium. Members of the Wesley Men's and Women's soccer programs assisted the youth players in various skills and games throughout the evening. Since 2009, both programs have worked with over 800 youth players from the surrounding communities.
