Wesley College announced Dr. Ray Yin, founder and CEO of ANP Technologies, will be the speaker at the 2014 Commencement ceremony. Yin’s company based in Newark, DE is one of the leading companies in biodefense and nanotherapeutics. Courtney (Walpole) Voshell '03 graduated from Wesley’s education program and went on to earn her master and doctoral degrees while a teacher and administrator in the Capital School District. On February 8, Voshell was named National Assistant Principal for Secondary Schools by the National Assoc. of School Administrators. "Courtney is an exemplary change agent, she has definitely instituted positive change at Dover High School," said Professor of Education Dr. B. Patricia Patterson.

Wesley College's football team, who was recently named the 2013 ECAC Team of the Year, held its annual end-of-season banquet on Sunday afternoon at the College Center where it announced all of the team award winners from the 2013 season. Head Coach Mike Drass and his coaching staff also recognized the 11-member senior class that went 44-8 over the last four seasons, and eight players who received either All-America or All-Region honors.
Freshmen Kiona Mency and Elizsha Streeter both set Capital Athletic Conference records and three other school-records were broken as the Wesley College women's track & field team had an impressive showing at the Patriot Games Invitational hosted by George Mason University on February 1.

Wesley College's Kiona Mency has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week, it was announced by the league office on February 4. This is the first weekly honor of Mency's career and she is the second women's Wolverine to earn a CAC weekly award this season
