Community Square Dance Offered at Wesley College

This isn’t your grandparents’ square dance – although they would be welcome!  Wesley College and Picnic for Peace are pleased to announce a multi-generational and multi-cultural square dance during Dover’s First Friday April 4, 6 to 8 p.m. in the lobby of the College Center at Wesley, 120 N. State Street. The event is free and open to the public.  No prior dance experience is required, nor is a partner.  Just come in comfy shoes prepared to make new friends, get exercise, and have fun.  Drinks will be provided and those who so choose are welcome to bring a dessert to share.
Picnic for Peace is a loose association of individuals from Dover who are committed to the idea that people who eat together – and in this case dance together – are not inclined to violence.  The group is welcomed to Wesley by the Office of Student Affairs and by the Concierge Desk, a student run information service on campus.  Give peace a dance!
