Wesley Hosts Community Square Dance
Wesley College and Picnic for Peace hosted a multi-generational, multi-cultural square dance as part of Dover’s First Friday celebration. More than 40 people, including organizers, Wesley students, faculty, staff and community members, participated in the event on April 4, which took place on the Wesley campus.
"Everybody had a good workout and a great time!" said Frances Riddle, Wesley College coordinator for student success.
Picnic for Peace is a loose association of people in the community who are committed to the idea that people who eat together are not inclined to violence. They were welcomed to campus by Wesley’s Office of Student Affairs and the Concierge Desk, a student-run information service.
