Wesley Students Present Undergraduate Research

Six Wesley College students presented five posters at the 10th Annual Delaware American Chemical Society (ACS) Section Student-Industry poster session meeting at the University of Delaware on April 16. One of the students, Jasbir Deol (biological chemistry), earned a second place cash award in the undergraduate poster section of the event.

Students who participated were Benjamin Barile (mathematics), Catie Gross (biological chemistry), Kaylee Miller(biological chemistry), Maryeah Pavey (medical technology), Jasbir Deol(biological chemistry) and Victor DeBarros II (biology chemistry).  

The undergraduate chemistry research projects were under the direction of Wesley Professor of Chemistry Dr.Malcolm J. D'Souza, and one project (Barile) was co-mentored by Associate Professor of Mathematics Dr. Frank Fiedler.
