Wesley College head men's basketball coach Jerry Kobasa has been named the DIII News/Schelde North America Coach of the Month for January, it was announced by SmallCollegeHoops.com on Wednesday morning. Kobasa led the Wolverines to a perfect 6-0 mark as of January 30 and Wesley is riding an 11-game win streak.

Eight Wesley College football players were named to D3football.com All-Region Teams, it was announced by the website on Tuesday afternoon. Offensive lineman Brian Cranmer, as well as defensive end Devin Hardy, linebacker Sosthene Kapepula and safety Jared Morris all received first team recognition. Also receiving All-Region honors was second team center Tim Putman, while quarterback Justin Sottilare, defensive tackle Terence Gavin and kicker Dan Tryon received third team recognition.

Miller Stadium. The Wolverines (9-1) will take on Cortland St. in the Second Round of the National Tournament on Saturday, November 24 in a 12 pm kickoff.
Wesley College's Madison Leone has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Field Hockey Co-Player of the Year, it was announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon. A junior midfielder from Dover, Del., Leone shares the award with Mary Washington's Lisa Charney.
