Wesley College head men's basketball coach Jerry Kobasa was inducted into the Blue Gold Basketball Hall of Fame at the 2013 Blue Gold All-Star Basketball Banquet, presented by Best Buddies at the Dover Downs Hotel & Conference Center on March 14.
After helping Wesley College's men's basketball team set a program-record for wins, senior forward Paul Reynolds and freshman swingman Wayne Lennon have been named the Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year, respectively, it was announced by the league office on February 26.

Best Buddies Delaware and the BlueGold All-Star Basketball Games will induct Wesley College head men's basketball coach Jerry Kobasa into the BlueGold Basketball Hall of Fame at the All-Star Banquet on March 14 at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino. The banquet begins at 6 p.m. and is as a prelude to the All-Star Games on March 16, when 60 of the state's top senior boys and girls basketball players showcase their skills in the annual event.
Former Wesley College baseball player Rob Benedict ('12) has signed a professional contract to play for the New Jersey Jackals of the Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball. Benedict becomes the second Wolverines baseball player to sign a contract in the Can-Am League (Ryan Buckland with the American Defenders of New Hampshire in 2009).
In its final tuneup for the Capital Athletic Conference Championships, both sophomore Matt Bundy and freshman Robert Wiggs took second overall in individual events, first against only Division II and Division III competition, and helped set a school-record in the 4x200m Relay.
Wesley College's football team held its annual end-of-season banquet on February 10 at the Duncan Center where it announced all of the team award winners from the 2012 season. Head Coach Mike Drass and his coaching staff also recognized the 21-member senior class whose 47-6 record over the last four years is the most wins in program history and nine players who received All-America and/or All-Region honors.
Paul Reynolds set the school-record for career rebounds as the Wesley College men's basketball team defeated Mary Washington, 67-52, in Capital Athletic Conference action on Wednesday night at Wentworth Gymnasium.
