Wesley College Plans to Expand Educational Offerings in Dover Region

M&T Bank Supports Wesley's New Health Sciences Building

Wesley College received a $25,000 check from M&T Bank to support the new Health Sciences Building. The new facility will support the expansion of Wesley's highly-regarded nursing program and address the documented shortage of nurses throughout the region. Wesley Society Celebrates Member Support

Wesley College showed its appreciation to its most generous contributors on Saturday night, January 12, 2013, with a reception and dinner held at the Sheraton Dover Hotel. Spring Semester Check-in Information

Spring semester check in is scheduled for Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  All students should check in at the Lobby Area of College Center with Admissions staff and if all items are complete, they will receive a “sail through” ticket to proceed.  Students living on campus will receive a “golden ticket” at check in, enabling them to proceed to their assigned residence hall and give the ticket to their Resident Director/Resident Assistant in their residence hall...[more]

Wesley College performs 'Amahl and the Night Visitors' at Schwartz Center

Wesley College presented Gian Carlo Menotti's "Amahl and the Night Visitors" Nov. 29 at the Schwartz Center for the Arts. The opera, performed in English, tells the story of Amahl and his mother and the act of forgiveness that change their lives. The opera was directed by Wesley drama instructor, J. Denise Baker, with music direction by Wesley professor of music, Dr. James Wilson. The performance was funded in part of Kent County Fund for the Arts and Delaware Division of the Arts.

Wesley College hosted a reception for photographer Robert Gingher on November 29 in the Fluman Gallery located on the third floor in College Center. Gingher specializes in landscape, portrait, still life, and composite shots. His exhibit, the Inmost Light, will be on display until January 10.[more]
