Wesley College faculty and students collaborated to present undergraduate research at the American Chemical Society (ACS) meeting in March 2012 in San Diego. Three of the nine posters that Wesley students and faculty will present were selected to be showcased at Sci-Mix, a large meeting-wide poster event, at the conference. Behind the shoulders of Shane McSweeny, the seventh-ranked Wesley College football team defeated No. 3 Mary Hardin-Baylor, 27-24, Saturday afternoon in the NCAA Division III Quarterfinals at the Crusaders' Tiger Field. The Wolverines will travel to Mount Union (13-0) on Saturday, December 10 for the NCAA Semifinals where the winner will play in the Stagg Bowl.

Wesley College’s education department so impressed a review team from the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), that the committee has recommended full accreditation for the College’s Teacher Education Program. Wesley College’s Office of Institutional Advancement announced an overall increase of 63 percent in total giving to the College during the last fiscal year. Financial gifts to the Dover college increased from $738,794 to $1,206,450 in the 2010-11 fiscal year.
