Wesley College's Bryce Shade was named the ECAC Special Teams Player of the Week, following Wesley's 54-0 win against Concordia-Selma on October 11. Shade returned a kickoff 83 yards for a touchdown and had another runback for 35 yards during the game.
The Alumni Association is happy to announce the new members elected to serve three year terms on the alumni board: Yalonda Wilkins Adams ’95, Oswald Guobadia ’96, Alexandra Hollywood ’05 and Elizabeth Wallace ’13.

During the All-Class Reunion Dinner at Homecoming and Families Weekend 2014, the Wesley College Alumni Association presented the 2014 Alumni Awards. Matthew Sellitto ’67 received the Alumni Public Service Award in absentia, Jane (Kearney) MacDonald ’60 won the Alumni Service Award and James Collins ’97 was the recipient of the Professional Service Award. Holden Wingate was named Wolverine of the Week on October 13. The senior midfielder scored two goals in the team's win over Southern Virginia, both coming off assists from Will Mileski.
Wesley College's Joe Callahan and Aamir Petrose were named the ECAC Division III Southwest Co-Offensive and Co-Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, it was announced by the league office on October 7. Callahan threw for 362 yards and totaled six touchdowns (5 pass, 1 rush) in Wesley's victory against Louisiana College. Petrose tallied five tackles and two sacks.
Wesley College faculty, staff, students, and members of the Dover community gathered to honor Jim Flood Sr. and Kathleen Flood for their generous contribution to fully fund the renovation of Wesley’s Writing and Tutoring Center, a part of Wesley’s Department of Academic Support on October 6. Riza Bautista, junior math major, and Brittany Kowalewski, senior math major, presented their undergraduate research results at the 10th Shenandoah Undergraduate Mathematics and Statistics (SUMS) Conference. The conference was held on October 4, 2014 at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va.

Aamir Peetrose was named Wolverine of the Week on October 6, following his performance in football's Homecoming victory against Louisiana College. The defensive end recorded five tackles and two sacks. He also broke up three passes and had two additional quarterback hurries in the game.
Wesley College's Kyle George and Aamir Petrose were both named to the D3football.com Team of the Week it was announced by the website on October 1. In Wesley's win against SVU, George caught seven passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns and Petrose had three sacks and broke up a pass.
