Wolverines tame Wildcats in second half comeback

The #7 Wesley Wolverines scored 42 second half points, erasing a 20 point halftime deficit, defeating #5 Linfield Wildcats 49-34 in the second round of the NCAA Division III playoffs. Wesley quarterback Shane McSweeny tossed four touchdowns and ran for two more to lead the Wolverines to the next round of the playoffs.

Wesley College Winter Commencement Details Announced

Wesley College’s Winter Commencement will take place at the Dover Central Middle School auditorium on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 7:00 pm.  Each graduate will receive 6 tickets for the event. D'Souza and his organic chemistry class conducted a “Kids & Chemistry” event recently for approximately 400 first through eighth -grade students. This annual event is held at the Independence School in Newark, DE, and is organized by the Delaware-Section of the American Chemical Society. The school that creates change agents for educational reform is recommended for full NCATE accreditation. “Frankie V. Day at the Track” Fundraiser Slated to Support Wesley College Scholarships

Wesley College alumni have organized a fundraiser to help memorialize Westfield, NJ resident Frank Vasfailo III ’95 who was tragically killed in a car crash in April 2010. From noon until 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 25 will be “Frankie V. Day at the Track.” The first-time event will be held at Monmouth Park Race Track in Oceanport, New Jersey. Wesley College Institutional Giving Increases by 63 Percent

Wesley College’s Office of Institutional Advancement announced an overall increase of 63 percent in total giving to the College during the last fiscal year.
