Schlosser Finishes 2nd in First-Ever Decathlon

Competing in his first-ever decathlon, the two days after participating at the Capital Athletic Conference Championships, Patrick Schlosser finished second overall at the Lynchburg College Multi-Meet held on Monday and Tuesday afternoon. Schlosser, who scored 5,961 points overall, was also the first-ever Wesley College athlete to compete in the decathlon. In recognition of National Nurses Week, two Wesley College faculty members were recognized in the “Top Nurses” section in the May 2014 edition of Delaware Today. Wesley College Professor of Mathematics Dr. Agashi Nwogbaga, accompanied mathematics majors Brittany Kowalewski and Riza Bautista to a regional math conference. The Mathematical Association of America (MAA) conference was held on April 26 at Scranton University in PA.
