Financial Aid Appeal Process

Wesley College financial aid award packages are determined based upon the federally defined calculation of financial need. The College has in place an appeal process to allow for a possible recalculation of financial need based on special or unusual circumstances. Not all changes in circumstance will result in an adjustment to financial aid eligibility. 


Students interested in pursuing an appeal should indicate in writing to the Office of Student Financial Planning why their financial situation has changed from the time when they completed their original FASFA. Students should explain why a change in circumstances makes continuing their education at Wesley College impossible. Once your request is received, a financial aid counselor will contact you regarding the status of your appeal. Please allow up to two weeks for a response.
