We are delighted that your student has chosen to attend Wesley College and we hope that you are able to attend SOAR (Summer Orientation and Academic Registration) with them where a special program for parents/guardians has been scheduled. Your portion of SOAR begins with registration at 8:00 a.m. in the College Center Lobby.

SOAR is a full-day program which concludes at 4:00 p.m. and is stuffed with valuable information. Because the information you need is different than your student, your SOAR schedule varies and you will be in a different location than your student for most of the day.

Following the official welcoming session, parents/guardians and students will separate as each group takes part in their own SOAR schedule tailored to their specific needs. Parents/guardians will have a chance to meet with representatives from Financial Aid, Residence Life, and other areas of the College community to address specific questions and concerns that parents/guardians of new students may have about Wesley College.

Your investment in your student's college career is important. For that reason two (2) meal tickets are provided for the parents/guardians who attend SOAR with their student. To assist us with the planning of the Orientation program, please accurately complete the Parent/Guardian Information found on the SOAR Registration Form.

Staying Overnight
We understand some of you travel to participate in SOAR. If you would like to stay overnight please consider staying at the Sheraton in Dover. Please call (302) 678-8500 to make your reservation. Please mention Wesley College when you make your reservation.
